Our Story

2018

First Meeting

We met at a friend's dinner in Rome. Francesca spilled wine on Francesco's shirt, and he said it was the best thing that ever happened to him.

2019

First Trip Together

Our first trip to the Amalfi Coast. We drove along winding roads, got lost twice, and found our favorite restaurant by accident.

2021

Moving In Together

We found our little apartment in Trastevere, with its tiny balcony overlooking the rooftops and the sound of church bells every morning.

2025

The Proposal

On a gondola ride in Venice, under a golden sunset, Francesco got down on one knee. Francesca said yes before he could even finish asking.

Venice Tips

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes — Venice has lots of bridges and steps!
  • Buy a vaporetto pass for unlimited water bus rides.
  • Try the local spritz and cicchetti at a bacaro (Venetian wine bar).
  • Get a bit lost — the best discoveries happen when you wander off the main paths.
